I still have some decorations on the coffee table!
Hello everyone, Is it time for an intervention? I was wondering why I feel a great level of sadness after New Year’s Day, when it is time to store away all the Christmas decorations. It is because I love the holidays so much? Am I the only one feeling this why? Even though the house looks beautiful and bigger without a huge tree in the living room, I can honestly say it is going to take some time to get used to. One step at a time.
So today, like I do every year, I purposely left some decorations on the wall and in the kitchen. One year, I remember leaving the holiday coffee cups out on the china cabinet, all year round. Surprisingly, even though they were there in the open, no one in my family seemed to have noticed. On a different note, as many of you already know, I’m not a winter person. Now that we are in January, I’m looking forward to the days getting longer. And before you know it, another beloved summer will be here.
Before I go dear friends, I would like to know what are some of the things you have done to stay zen today. As for me, I will be resuming my regular running schedule next week. Today, to keep it zen, I had some quiet time to myself to meditate, and some green decaffeinated tea for relaxation. Keep on smiling! XO
