I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I’m back with another beauty review!
We usually roll our eyes about this, but just think: throughout our lives, how many of us have spent hundreds of dollars on a hair
strengthener with the unwavering hope that we would be living happily ever after with it? How many of us have felt that, the more money you spend on a
styling tool, the higher your expectations are about its performance during your morning hair and beauty routine?
I know. I hear you clearly!
I was that person until right before Christmas. I have been using a flat iron since the beginning of the millennium. This time, I wanted to purchase a strengthener that I could use
for styling my hair either straight or wavy. Can you believe this flat iron was less than forty dollars?
Hair straighteners can range in price from $30 at the drugstore to $200 dollars in a beauty salon. A good flat iron can last for years, as long as you look after it and make sure you buy the right one.

So, there I was, dreaming of creating those beautiful beach waves you often see on Jessica Alba (who follows me on Twitter, by the way), or having those amazing waves like you see on Laura Vitale, the gorgeous host of Laura in the Kitchen on YouTube. I was desperate to make my hair look like those ladies.
So, it was time for me to get to work: I asked Meghan, my beautiful hairdresser, to give me some suggestions, and she did!
I’m in love with my new styling tool. I’m pleased on how this iron does everything from straight to curls. My hair stayed straight as a needle all day, without curling up. Don’t worry, fine-haired friends, you can set it on number 15, like I do, and the result? My hair looks incredibly shiny. It feels silky, with zero frizz. I mean it!
This inexpensive styling tool gives me the “salon-like results.” I’m planning on keeping this flat iron for a long time.
This is my “first favorite product of the year.” Feel free to share yours.
All my best,
P.S. My new article will be out soon on Thrive Global. I will be sharing some important
information on how to communicate effectively with your doctor. I will share the link.
Also, I’m sharing a picture of our favorite homemade bread/buttermilk pie! XoXo
