Hi, friends! Today, we are going to talk about food allergies and food labels.
Every year, millions of Americans have life-threatening reactions to food. As many of you already know, I suffer from a peanut/ tree nuts allergy. My mission is to help people with food allergies, especially those who are newly diagnosed, by providing them with support and the latest studies.

“GLUTEN FREE”

Let’s talk about gluten. My heart goes out to those who suffer from Celiac disease, or simply have a gluten intolerance. It’s not easy for them, to say the least.

Having said that, am I missing something? Is gluten intolerance the only food allergy on our planet? Every time I go to the grocery store, I notice that seemingly every item has “gluten free” written in large letters on the front of the package. However, I recently purchased a multivitamin at my local drug store and, when I got home, I noticed the phrase “Processed in a facility that processes tree nuts” in very small writing. I was frustrated.

Hello! Have we forgotten that there are other deadly allergies?! Why do I need a magnifying glass to see whether a product contains, or was processed in a facility with, peanuts and tree nuts, but I can tell if it is gluten free from a mile away?In my opinion, it’s all about marketing. Gluten-free foods are a huge trend right now. So, to ensure that a product is sold fast, companies are throwing a big “gluten free” label on the front of the package.

There is a lot of work to do. Through Thrive Global and social media, my voice will be heard. I will keep you posted.

Hey! Hello, my friends!

It has been awhile since my last post. I have been taking a little time for myself to unplug and relax. I’m also enjoying this gorgeous spring weather. This year, it seems like the cold weather is trying to hang on forever. Help!

Here is the link if you  like my shirt

On this post, I’m going to share some of the latest items that I bought.
While relaxing and enjoying Spring Break, I took the opportunity to do some shopping. I have been wanting to shop for  some new dressy casual tops/ handbag/shoes for quite some time. It is not always easy to do so. It takes time and some planning, but it is worth it.

I think all of us need to invest in a handbag that makes a statement. You walk in your closet, and there they are! Always lined up and looking all pretty. Whether it is a shoulder bag or a cross-body, depending on the day and the occasion, they are still one of the most practical item in our closets. Today, I’m sharing beautiful and perfect arm candy.

My statement bag, Zara, has arrived. Now I can add it to the rest of my collection.

A statement bag can transform an entire outfit. A new handbag, that matches your shoes and outfits, shows style and sophistication. It makes you feel ready to step on the runway. In my opinion, it is the first thing that people notice.

Investing in a good quality bag is totally worth it. Handbags are one of our many accessories that we value and use often. We need to make sure they go with every outfit we own. When we have the pleasure of finding the perfect one, it can give us a great feeling of satisfaction. It will instantly make an effortless outfit stand out and look glam.

As I was shopping for my new bag, I came across this adorable wallet. How many of us get attached to our old wallet, and try to come up with excuses not to get one?! It almost happened to me. I was attached to my old wallet simply because it was a gift from my husband, Patrick. I kept on putting off buying a new one.

As many of you already know, I’m a runner. Here are my favorite running shoes I bought just over the weekend!  What are some of your favorite running shoes?

Okay, my friends. There is a lot on my to-do list today. My new article should be out in a few weeks on Thrive. I will post a link.
