Hi, friends!

It is time to shake off the winter blues and revamp our wardrobe for spring. Time goes by fast. It seems like it was just yesterday we were celebrating X-mas, and now we are getting ready to jump into the spring season.  First, everybody take a seat.

We all have them in our closet: flats, heels, boots, ballets, sandals, platforms, wedges; seriously, do you know how many pairs of shoes you have in your closet?  Why are we obsessed with shoes? Why can we not seem to get enough of them?

Do you ever feel your heart beat faster when you are shopping online or at the mall, when you suddenly find that perfect pair of shoes? Don’t worry. You don’t need an intervention. It happens to me all the time.

I have a nice collection in my closet, and I often get asked, especially from my husband, Patrick:  “why do you love shoes?”  Do we know the answer? I don’t really know why we have that constant need to buy new shoes. Where does that attachment come from? I wonder if our mother and grandmothers have the same obsession?  Is there a cure?

On today’s post, I will be sharing a link, and pictures, with some of my favorite shoes that were spotted on celebrities and, just recently, the runways for fashion week. I always find it difficult to express in words what it is about shoes, and why we are so deeply in love with them.

Here is a Thom Browne’s fall ’17 New York Fashion Week presentation.

Here are some of my favorites that are available at Neiman Marcus

Let’s be honest: I always try to embrace the season’s latest top trends, but sometimes doing so can be difficult.  Your eyes don’t lie. Have you noticed that not all the shoes this year during fashion week’s runways were flattering? What’s your opinion on that? Until our next chat, stay zen!

Hello, friends! March is one of my favorite months. The days are getting warmer and longer, and you feel like you are getting more out of your day. I don’t miss those short, cold, wintry days.

The sunshine is coming out more, the flowers are blooming, and another beautiful summer is just around the corner. I’m enjoying these last few days of Spring Break with Patrick.

As I mentioned in my most recent post, I have been busy revamping my wardrobe. It is important for me to do that at the beginning of a new season; it feels great.

I also love to shop for items that are on sale. This is one way to update your wardrobe without breaking the bank. I bought this cute pair of sneakers to wear with jeans or a casual dress. Speaking of dresses, I went shopping, and I found this beautiful blue dress that just caught my eyes.

Alla prossima! xo xo

Hi friends,

I went shopping today, and I found this beautiful dress that I just had to take home. Black and white just like the colors of my Juve! I was a bit stressed at first because I could not find my size, but then it was one right in front of me!

Every spring, I get this urge to clean my closet. I like to remove things that I have not worn in awhile. If you do not wear it, remove it!

If you do clean your closet for spring, please take the time to give all your old clothing items to Goodwill or a charity of your choice. There are so many people who are in need.

I will be posting items on my blog as I update my wardrobe.

Have a great week, everyone! Keep an eye on the blog. This girl is on a mission. XO

Hi friends! I’m back!
Have you noticed this trend when you watch reruns of “That 70’s Show?” Also, have you noticed that our shirt sleeves are getting longer and longer? Have you asked yourself why? Don’t worry. You do not need glasses. The 70’s are calling you!

A few years ago, fashion from as far back as the 70’s, all the way to the 90’s, made a comeback. It is still hotter than ever! If you are a fan of long sleeves, then you are going to love this fashion trend.
Let’s talk about Bell Sleeve Tops. You may have noticed them all over Pinterest. This 70’s trend has also been spotted on several ramps in designer’s collections during the recent NYFW.
This major 70’s trend is making a huge comeback, and it’s here to stay.

The Bell Sleeve Tops are in for this season. They are perfect for people like me who like to keep things simple and classy. I will share a link to Neiman Marcus with all my favorite tops.
When we shop, we constantly look for items that enhance our style and beauty.

This is a picture of my idol, Victoria Beckham!

Designers have taken a strong hold of the bell-sleeve! Just take one good look at the butterfly sleeve, and you will be whisked back to the seventies.

Complete the casual look with your favorite sunglasses, flat sandals, and classic handbag. You will be ready to make a fashion statement!
If you are a fan of this trend, just embrace it and enjoy.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! Alla prossima! Forza Juve!

Hi friends! Ciao amiche! It is almost spring time!  I’m already thinking about re-vamping my wardrobe by adding a few items.  Don’t worry, I will share all the updates.

Just recently, we had New York Fashion Week! Some new trends are heading our way once again, like floral flared pants.  Remember those in the 90s?  Early 2016, they started making their way back in the fashion world.  I know!  Some of you are going to be rolling your eyes, but I think these floral flared pants are cute.  The beauty of these pants is they are versatile – you can wear them with high heels or with flats.

For those of you that love to shop online like I do, for this type of pants, I strongly advise you to try them on, to ensure that fits you perfectly. I will post a link with some of my favorite styles.  Please don’t wear the ones that look like pajamas.

My nostalgia is here! I think I’m definitely growing old. How I wish I would have kept mine with the blue and pink flowers.

Okay, enough nostalgia. I  need to stay focused on the present, and get busy finding another pair (or two) of these pants.  I just hope I can find a pair that I love as much as I did my old ones.  Finding the right clothing pieces can be quite difficult and frustrating, but I’m on a mission.

Once you find the color that you like, keep the rest of your outfit simple. I would wear them with a one color simple top. During the summer, you can wear them with a solid color spaghetti strap top. Remember, keep things simple and relaxed. It’s about balance and creating your own style.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Auguro una buona settimana a tutti! Stay zen!
