Hello, hello! How is your week going? This is a short blog post!

I am running again! It took long enough, and here I am,  dancing with endorphins  once again. That sense of well-being, freedom and extra energy makes me feel on top of the world.

Now that I am back to working out and burning calories, I figure I can treat myself with a dessert. Here is what I made for my family this week.

Oops, I almost forgot. I am submitting my next article to Ladies Home Journal. I will keep you posted.

Also, my January glam bag review is coming up!  Have a great rest of the week! XoXo

Here are my favorite muffin!

These muffins are super easy to make! If I’m short on time, I use this box.

This is a super easy dinner. This dish takes me back to Italy!

This is my son Patrick favorite pasta salad!

Ciao a tutti!

Today, in Italy and many parts of Europe, people are celebrating the Epiphany holiday. Growing up in Italy, getting ready for bed was the last thing on Earth we as children wanted to do. However, on Epiphany Eve, there was something magical about going to bed. I remember feeling very happy and excited. The day before, however, was never-ending. How can a 24-hour day feel like an eternity?

There was something magical in our house. Mom and Dad knew it. They watched us closely. When bedtime finally arrived, it was tradition for parents to hang stockings by the fireplace. That way, the Befana would fill them up with candy. If the children were naughty, they would get coal instead.

Did I ever receive coal? Yes, but it was the type made out of candy. So, it actually tasted very sweet.
I will never forget waking up in the morning with dolls and trains waiting for me. I wonder why I liked trains so much?

It was a fun time. Now, many, many years later, this day is still very special to me. I will always cherish these beautiful memories.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! I will see you on here next week!

Per quelli che seguono il mio blog dall’ Italia, auguro a tutti voi una felicissima festa della Befana. Spero che possiate condividere alcune foto e ricordi.  Un abbracccio a tutti! Sempre e solo Forza Juve!

Before I go, I’m sharing with you one of our favorite dish I made for dinner!

Bucatini alla Amatriciana!

I also made these yummy cookies for dessert.  Happy weekend to all! Xoxo

Hi, friends! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday!

The holiday season is a perfect time for us to step back from our crazy-busy, day-to-day lives and reflect on our blessings. This is also a time of year to celebrate long-lived traditions, and introduce new ones, like I’m planning to do.

This year, I will implement a few changes in our Christmas Eve dinner. I will share more details on that on my next blog post.

During this beautiful and magical season, enjoy your time with your family and friends. Whether your idea of relaxation is maybe reading a good book, playing Nintendo DS games like I do, or simply getting out and enjoying a brisk walk, remember: whatever you do, make it relaxing and fun. Be present.

Create new memories and traditions this holiday season. I will be sharing mine on the blog! Until then, here are some  of our favorite dishes I have been preparing for my family this month.

Buttermilk pie!

Peach pie!

Pasta-Paccheri with seadfood!

Tortellini in brodo di pollo!

Clams in tomatoes sauce!

Hello, friends!

It has been awhile since my last blog post. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My husband, Patrick, and I decided not to cook the traditional turkey this year, and instead opted for a ham with fresh green beans, bacon, mashed potatoes, and a salad. Of course, the pumpkin pie was amazing.  I just can’t believe that another holiday season is here.

How many of you did Black Friday shopping?  I had a terrific time shopping online. From comforters to makeup, I had a great time. I’m not ready to shop in a crowd. I’m still trying to regain my balance after the surgery.

I would like to extend a big “thank you” to my beautiful Jennifer for adding me to a private group on Facebook for writers. This group is called “The Binders”.  I’m honored and thrilled to be a part of a great community of writers.

Since my surgery, I have been super busy with PT. During my free time, I’m trying to finish my new article, which I will share more details about later.  Rehabilitation is going well. I am now able to bend my knee without being reminded by my family members and physical therapist to do so.  The leg is still stiff, and it will take some time to be limber again.

We did a photo shoot the other day for the blog. As you can see, I’m wearing a casual Juventus shirt and sweat pants. I’m hoping to wear all my pretty boots by the holidays. My entire outfit is available on the Juventus store online. Also, yesterday I made my favorite seafood pasta!

Today, I made this delicious peach pie! Enjoy the rest of this beautiful weekend! XoXo

Hello, ladies! Summer is ending! Get out there, get some sunshine, and enjoy the beautiful weather.

As you noticed from my pictures, I’m sporting a new, shorter look. It is always exciting when Meghan works her magic on my hair. We chopped a few inches off, because lately my hair has not been in the best condition. While I was in Italy this past summer, I went to see my sister’s hairdresser, and it was not a positive experience. Even though we had an appointment, I ended up waiting for a long time with chemicals in my hair. I got a lot of dead ends as a result. Today, Meghan could remove most of them.

Anyway, this past weekend, my husband Patrick and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. Our actual anniversary was on Friday, September 15, but we are still celebrating. It always feels like I just married him last year.

In the meantime, the UPS guy has been busy, because I received my first present last week. My hubby bought me a new laptop. It is super light, and I love it. It is as light as an iPad! Can you believe that? It is perfect for me, because my other laptop was quite heavy, and the weight was causing some knee pain. My second present was some Giorgio Armani foundation. I will share a review with all of you. Until then, be kind to one another. xoxo

I just made this delicious Tapioca pudding!
